WELCOME TO THE PRINCE GEORGE

Famous over many years for its all-vegetarian menu, a recent upgrade means the George has much more besides the grub going for it.

Keeping a traditional feel, parts of the pub have been opened up without losing the enticing nooks and crannies - plus the secluded beer garden - that make it such an inviting place to enjoy good food and drink.

There’s a veggie wine list, veggie lager on tap in the shape of Beck’s Vier, and six intriguing cask ales, all brewed in Sussex.
On Thursday nights the mood livens up with the help of an open mic music session, and on Sunday’s there’s a pub quiz for those serious thinkers.

TASTY VEGETARIAN PUB FOOD

Cows, pigs, chickens and fluffy lambs can all sleep a little easier in their barns knowing the Prince George has an entirely meat-free kitchen.

Every dish is freshly prepared on the premises by chef Malcolm Ingram and his team, where possible using locally sourced, organic ingredients.

The menu changes seasonally and can include Sizzling Veggie Fajitas, Homemade Fruity Veggie Curry, Beetroot & Grilled Goat’s Cheese salad and a choice of meat-free burgers.

Even the bar snacks are a bit special, supplied by Brighton’s own Infinity Foods. The George is certainly out to prove vegetarian food can be exciting as well as wholesome!

We're open from 7 days a week, Monday-Sunday between midday and midnight - 12pm to 12am!

KITCHEN HOURS

We serve food daily between 12pm - 9pm

Close to Brighton's famous North Laines, The Prince George is on one of the main roads towards the station, just down from Pelham Square.
